If I go to Start/Log off and login back, all the icons and the arrow appears. Probably not a spy/malaware problem, but I want to make sure.
I've run ad-aware and cwshedder already and they don't complain at all (only the usual cookies, of course)

Thank you for your time, I'm not in a hurry since the computer runs without any problem, but it would be nice to get rid of that annoying bug, err "feature"
