Hello and Welcome to the Forum.

Please delete any HijackThis Folders and Files you have now.

There's a new version of HijackThis.


Click the "Save" button.

Please put your HijackThis in it's own folder, (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT).
You can do a Right Click on any open area on the desktop, New> Folder, then rename the folder HJT.

Open HijackThis and select: Do a system scan and save a log file.

When the scan is finished, Click Edit> Select All> Edit> Copy> and paste its contents here [Add Reply].

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"


Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.


Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

thank u for reopening i really appreciate.

i've been having some blond moments here was on both pc's back and forth after last post i got distracted and ended up on other and did followed ur directions etc etc went blond and then :scratch: realized i was suppose to be in here sooo sorry

but i'm back on track in here and helllll i rebooted, hjt'd and was looking in list and .. :huh: :huh: and MY BAD but forgot some of my boggle friends talked me into getting on Skype to play on through their network and well i did and didnt think about it till now only notice of anything was while my 4 year old nephew were playing a jigsaw puzzle game on pogo the page just frooze and i did reboot cuz was busy on pc and this video card running i figured was a lot of the prob there. skype ran smooth and can't think of anything really.

ATF cleaned if on right pc lol was 174mb kewl ty for that.

well here is the log to sons pc after 2 or 3 lol HJT and ATF scans as u directed

when reading the info on file in hjt there were some odd associations that i that i wouldn't have thougt hard or long for instance the wga logon [windows gunuine advantage] but there were a few. just was curious of what ur opinion of that.

heyal, hi LDTate i wanted to come in and check her but i want to post that i just found an empty dir called : C:\WINDOWS\SxsCaPendDel and looked and is bad was reading part of another search result and that user was barely geting past any of the tools so i thought i'd enter this and said it was created yesterday. i didnt want to reboot till i heard back from u c what ur opinion might be. thank you, sb
