Thanks Degsy.
Welcome to the forum and sorry for the wait. Logs are many and volunteers are few. If you still need help, please follow these instructions. Your version of Smitfraudfix is old, SmitFraudFix v2.158, please delete it and download version v2.162 and then proceed with the instructions.

http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php <<< tutorial if needed.

Clean:
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)
Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.
You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.
A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Optional:
To restore Trusted and Restricted site zone, select 3 and hit Enter.
You will be prompted: Restore Trusted Zone ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to delete trusted zone.

Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE-SPYAD, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE-SPYAD, run the batch file and reinstall the protection.

Restart the computer and post the C:\rapport.txt and a new HJT log. Use Add Reply, stay in this same topic, we will have more to do.

Thanks

Thanks for returning your information. You had a load of junk still left from Smitfraud as you could see.

Your HJT log looks fine, you have an old Microsoft Money line:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
you can remove with HJT if you wish. How is the computer running? Smitfraudfix seems to have done the job. If you want to do a check for anything else, you have AVG Anti-Spyware onboard, run a scan using these instructions: http://forums.security-central.us/showthread.php?t=3165
Delete or quarantine anything it finds and post the results if you need any help with them.

If not, let's finish like this: System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen…src=sec_doc_nam

AVG Anti-Spyware is a good program but it does use some resources. Once the trial is over you can update and use the scanner for as long as you wish, but unless you purchase it you should turn it off completely so it does not run unless you start it manually.

Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

Thanks again for your help.
Did the scans nothing found on spyblaster or AVG, but zone alarms found Trojan -downloader.win32.Zlob.bon in C:\ system volume information and quaratined it. Also turned system restore off then rebooted then turned system restore back on. Computer seems to be running quite a lot quicker now but can be a bit sluggish at times. I think I might have to many processes running . Anyway just in case there is something Iam adding my latest HJT log, if you think it looks ok then thats fine. Thanks again for all your help best wishes Degsy.

I have to apologize, seems I was not notifiied when you posted this las time.

Did the scans nothing found on spyblaster or AVG, but zone alarms found Trojan -downloader.win32.Zlob.bon in C:\ system volume information and quaratined it. Also turned system restore off then rebooted then turned system restore back on.

No program can do anything with System Restore that I know of, you did what needs to be done by turning it off, restarting the computer and turning it back on. This removes all SR backups and gives you clean files:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen…src=sec_doc_nam

You can use HJT to remove this line.
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
Dead Microsoft Money item

I don't see any malware in the log, but I do see C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5\ If you don't own this program, you should either turn it off (gives no realtime benefits once the trial is over) or uninstall it.

Look at this information to help the computer run better and safer:

:) Sorry for the delay in replying. Had to go away for a few days . Just like to say thanks for all your help & information supplied . Computer running fine when not connected to internet . If I start computer with wireless connection active programs take an age to open , if I start computer then open wireless connection things seem to run a lot faster maybe there's some sort of hardware clash . might try removing my Belkin wireless card then reinstalling it. Anyway no need to answer on this topic if you don't have time ,think iv'e just about got it sorted now . Big thanks again for all your help . All the best Degsy.
