IE locked up.

When I launch IE 6, my CPU goes to 100% and stays there. About 75% is iexplorer.exe and the last 25% is used by lsass.exe. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you still need help and haven't posted at another forum.

Download and install AVG Anti-Spyware (ewido). Then scan and save the log from the scan.
Instructions and download link can be found here.

Then run this online scan. Save the report.

Rescan with hijackthis and post a new log with the results from AVG .
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Little Eagle, I figured out my problem. My McAffe Internet Suite update subscription expired and kept giving me popups to renue the subscription. I didn't want to renue it because I wasn't verty happy with it. It was suggested to me that the McAfee IS was causing my IE to freeze so I removed it and sure enough everything went back to normal. I installed AVG Free Edition Anti Virus and am very happy with it. Thank you very much for your help. Tweekspark
