KEEP GETTING UPDATES WARNING

For the last 2 weeks, I've been getiing a warning saying that theres is an update available for Windows Defender. I click on it, and it's always the same update: KB915597. It comes on every ten or 15 minutes or less sometimes. It' annoying. Plus, I may be loggin into my msn and my screen goes off. I have to restart my computer every times this happens. 2 days ago, it began with Word. I'm using it and my screen goes off. No way I can continue working. This morning, I turned on my computer and as I logged onto Windows it went off. Could this be the effect of a virus?? Please help/

Yes, I've installed it almost every time it pops up, but keeps returning. What can I do? Please Help

Are you running the beta version of Windows Defender? If so, you need to upgrade to the final.
