Hi manda, the regfix I gave you needs some slight adjustment

Copy/paste the following text into a new Notepad document. (You must use Notepad, NOT Wordpad). Make sure that you have NO blank lines at the beginning of the document before REGEDIT4, and ONE blank line at the end of the document as shown in the quoted text:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\Run]
"{B4FE7785-0D48-1033-0503-06042205003d}"=-

Save it to your desktop as Fixme.reg. Save it as follows…
File Type: "All Files" (not as a text document or it wont work).
Name: Fixme.reg

Locate Fixme.reg on your desktop and double-click it. When asked if you want to merge with the registry, click YES. Wait for the merged successfully prompt.

If you dont have any programs like these, I would recommend that you get them.
Spywareblaster
Spywareguard
IESpyads
They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening.

Also get a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing.

I would also suggest you read this:
So how did I get infected in the first place?

Thanks for all you help. I have followed all the steps and everything seems to be running really well. I am also trying to stop my daughter from loading certain things and making her aware of the different ways she can get spyware/maleware. Thanks again. Amanda
