Hi all. I have been battling a malware/spyware problem for a few weeks and still have not completely cleaned it up….I think. So could you please look at the below HijackThis log and tell me if I have any issues?

I currently do/have run Spybot, Ad-aware, Norton AV, CWShredder, Stinger, and a hot of other things and fixes. I also try to run SpywarBlaster also.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks !!!

Hi,

Visit your Add/Remove Programs Panel and uninstall:

if it's not there don't worry about it.

Now close all your Internet Browsers, run hijackthis and place a check next to the following:

Reboot back into normal mode and post a fresh log IN this thread.
Thanks for the reply. I did not find the following files you wanted me to delete. I had "show hidden files" option running also.

I am also getting an error message on re-boot now that says "Error loading NvQtwk".

One other question, I also have a secondary drive on my computer that I use for some applications…E:\ drive. Should I be running a separate HijackThis log analysis for that drive?

Below is the new HijackThis Log for C:\

Looks better, just one item remains. Close all Internet Browsers and place a check next to the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [klzwnttuzrqhe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\wraofz.exe

and click fix. Navigate to your system32 folder and delete this file

File:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\wraofz.exe

The NvQtwk error is a part of your NVIDA drivers, have you been having this problem for awhile now?

Just to be sure, lets see a hijackthis log for that E:\ drive.
Not sure if the E:\ drive scan is doing anything..it looks to be the same as the one done off the C:\ drive. Below is the updated C drive scan.

As far as the "Error loading NvQtwk" issue, it started when I first ran some of the Shredder/Stinger/HijackThis programs. I believe I first saw it on boot-up after I fixed some selected problems from HijackThis. It pops up now on every reboot.
Your log looks good. Search your harddrive make sure you still have the NvQtwk.dll If it's missing see if you can extract the dll from your NVIDA disc. I searched around on google for individuals with your same problem and couldn't find much. You might be required to reinstall the drivers for your card. By chance when using hijackthis did you check the NvQtwk line in the log. I have never seen this problem before, and none of the spyware removal programs target that file.
I am glad we could help you out. To prevent the hijackers from taking over your system, increase the level of security on your system. Don't allow the hijackers to take you over!! Review these articles to increase the level of security.
