computer problems pleae help

hi, my computer is really acting up and i really need to fix it, i have papers and exams coming up and I do not have time to format. it takes half an hour to load up. it goes to the page in black page with all the white writing which lists all the computer specs before the windows loading page. and it gets stuck for quite a while before going to windows. the search feature of windows does not work as in it says that it is not installed. the windows media player wont work, and internet explorer wont display most pictures. and netscape does not work at all. it starts making a sound after being on for a while and the fan goes into overdrive mode. please help me the hijack this log is below.

Hi, Sorry to hear of the problems with your computer. As you have exams and papers to do and you are short of time, please be sure that before you do anything else, before you boot up or even shutdown your machine that your backup of all your data, files, and important information and settings is right bang up to date, that you have verified that the data is correct, uncorrupted and reproducable. If there are even just a few important files/settings that you have not backed up or the back up is out of date in any way then it's best to organise all the things you need to update the backup BEFORE you even touch your machine. It may not be necessary to reformat, reinstall Your OS and Applications, but just in case make sure that your backup includes all your drivers, you have a record of your OS Product key, and that your OS installation disc is undamaged, and if, for example, your OS is Windows XP, it's the correct one for your system. I could not see your HJT log, but at this stage I only need to see the header information, that tells me your Operation System (OS) details. Please post back with the HJT (HiJackThis) log, header only please, and confirm that your backup is fully complete verified and reproducable. If you are so short of time that 3 hours or so (format and reinstall) is too long for you at this point of time, then it might be best just to borrow or acquire another machine that you can use, put your data on and use that until your exams and papers are completed. You can then fix your damaged machine without being under any excessive time pressures. I say this because getting your machine back running correctly even without a format/re-install could easily take you 3 hours or so especially if it is necessary for you to run some scans, which can be very time consuming.
