Good morning..

I am having several problems with my computer and I think its down to viruses.

1) My monitor keeps on switching off. I have to keep on taking the power out and putting it back in.
2) The fan keeps on coming on "full speed!"
3) The sound is ok when i load up then it turns off and none of my media players can find audio
4) My CD Driver cant recognise Writable CD after 10 mins from loading up. I have to write musi to CD's within 10 mins.
5) Windows classic view keeps on popping up and freezes screen!

I have tried re-intsalling drivers but the problems ir here still.

I have not got my discs for windows XP as these have been lost in the move so i cant do a refrsh on the whoe system.

Please can you help?

You can get the disk here.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa…us/default.mspx

Click \start\run\then type in or copy and paste in

sfc /scannow not the space between c and /

You must be logged on as a member of the Administrators group to run sfc.

If sfc discovers that a protected file has been overwritten, it retrieves the correct version of the file from the
%systemroot%\system32\dllcache folder, and then replaces the incorrect file.

Try this link if you have any trouble.
