ok,, first of all i'm not sure if my computer has been hijacked… my computer ran slowly and i can't change my homepage! my homepage was supposed to be at yahoo but it is on thecoolpics.net ( website that i havent visited… - it is an adult website! ). guess what, not only it changed my homepage,, it also get me into lots of pop-ups.. i tried editing my registry, but my computer doesn't allow me to. ( saying that i haven't have a permission from administrator ) now, what will i do? oh, also, i installed norton antivirus to see if my computer has virus. and i think, it deleted more than 10 viruses, but it does not help… i tried to change my homepage back to yahoo but the "USE CURRENT" on my internet options was shaded gray… please guys, help me..! by the way,,, i downloaded hijackthis and i've got the results. i will not post it unless the admin lets me… please… please… help me…!

Reboot your PC

1. Download this file - combofix.exe
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

thank you!!! it does fixed the problem… i had erased those that you've asked me to and my computer runs again at a normal speed! it also allows me to change my homepage! thanks,,,i'm going to reboot my computer now… and i will post the log here… thanks again!
