Hi there

Sorry to say that Im back again with a problem. AVG screen keeps informing me that there is a Trojan in my System Volume Information, then it just disappears. If I then do a selected scan all appears well, so I tried doing an online scan with Trend and another with Panda (selected scans only of S.V.I.) but Trend keeps going round and round in circles when I select S.V.I to scan and Trend cant even see it on my system

Next I opened up explorer and tried to look in System Volume Information but was unable to open file. I had already been to Tools, Folder Options, and uncheked the relevant boxes but it still wouldnt let me in.

Please could you offer me some assistance. Here is my HiJackThis Log. Thank you :(

hi Christopher_35, sometimes (bad) stuff can get archived in the system restore archive. antivirus flags it in the archive. so you have to make a new clean restore point. like this: 1. Turn off System Restore. (deletes old possibly infected restore point) On the Desktop, right-click My Computer. Click Properties. Click the System Restore tab. Check Turn off System Restore. Click Apply, and then click OK. 2. Reboot. 3. Turn ON System Restore.(new restore points on a clean system) On the Desktop, right-click My Computer. Click Properties. Click the System Restore tab. UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*. Click Apply, and then click OK, then reboot shelf life
Hi there Shelf Life
