everything slowed to a crawl

Attached is the Hijack This log. Found a "digital line detect.lnk" in the services and got rid of it after finding my Webroot SpySweeper damaged. Loaded new app from Webroot and fixed that problem. But the page loadings and running of apps is still really slow. Ran Spy sweeper in Safe Mode and no detections of anything. I have a bunch of company carp** and VPN stuff, as you can see in the log. That hasn't been a problem in the past, however.
