Blue Task Bar Dissapears! help!

that is my desktop. See at the bottom where the Blue bar and the 'Start' button would be? Sometimes when i press the ''windows key and D' shortcut onto the desktop, the blue bar dissapears. The picture is as it is, it's not edited like you may think! The blue bar genuinly dissapears. Can i stop this happening? Thanks for any help, it gets annoying. :rant:

on the task bar.

Choose "Properties".

Uncheck the box next to "Auto-hide the task bar".

Click: Apply –> OK

there was no check in it…….(but the bar is here now) when the bar isn't there, how do i get to properties? do i just right click the desktop where the bar should be? (sorry if that doesn't make much sense)

I have mine set to "autohide". When I want it to appear, I press the "Windows" key.

it might just be a matter of messing around with them setting. thanks
