Problem with software - ProtectionID -

I can't remember which, but there was a website recommending 'ProtectionID' as a way to backup your CD's to your hard-disk. I was interested, so i downloaded it from this site:

(the software 'ProtectionID'……..don't download, because when you install, there doesn't seem to be a way of uninstalling!)

Now, say i right click a picture on my desktop, it'll have the option to: ''scan with ProtectionID'', which is annoying as it wasn't there before!

Any ideas how to get rid of it?

But before going into and altering the Registry be sure to make a back up and keep it somewhere safe and accessible.

thanks, i'll take a look at that site now

it doesn't seem to be there in the registry? i deleted two things but they weren't the right ones. i backed up my registry beforehand so i just added it back now. *gulps*
