Hi,

My computer is a work comp, so I am little bit limited in the access that I have and can't instal Ewido. However, the tech here went on and got rid of a bunch of stuff that he saw was a problem.

Right as he left though, I got another pop up. I ran HJT again, and ehre is my log:

If it all possible, could you reccommend online scans and such to try and avoid access problems?

Thanks alot
What was done was my tech went into safe mode (employees do not have access to and are not allowed to) and he went through and manually got rid of what he thought was harmful. As I am not aloowed to be in safe mode, I could not run any of the programs you asked. Since my last post, he has come back and deleted 2 other things that he forgot to check.

Now things seem to be running smoothly, but there is the possibility that in the 10 mins between deleting the items, some sutff could have been re-infected.

Spybot is still finding a CoolWWWSearch, which reappears after it is deleted. It also gets cookies from Targetsaver.

Adaware finds tracking cookies from about 20 places, with names such as adclicker, targetclicker, etc.

This is another HJT Log. I apologize for not being able to do alot to get rid of everything, but there is not much I can do about it.

The infection that your PC has is going to require removal in a certain order. If the tools can't be used by you then the company IT person needs to complete the instructions indicated.
Online scans are not going to be effective at this point.

I will be glad to continue to assist you, but 2 people doing 2 different things to resolve the same problem never works out.

Let me know how I can help

thanks bamajim
