Interesting PC issue. After cleaning it and returning it to my friend several weeks ago, something new has crept in.

PSTAPlugin generates an error during an autoinstall that says: Error 1704. An installation for TrayApp is currently suspended. You must undo the changes made by that installation to continue. Do you want to undo those changes?

When one foolishly chooses yes a TrayApp errorbox comes up that says: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click Ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing TrayApp.msi in the box below (and the box contains "c:\hp\tmp\src\setup\TrayApp\")

This user uses citrix to do office work at home, so that could be the network resource not available.

here is the HJT log:

Please close this request for now. I had to do a system recovery, and the error seems to have stopped.
