All of the following problems are probably related, so I have included problems from more than one program. :( I cannot post the HIJThis header because I cannot now or for the past 3 years been able to open any logs because I get the message "incorrect command line parameters". How can I fix this so that I can read my logs? I am running Windows 98, Spysweeper, ZoneAlarm, Adaware and AVG. I have not been able to download SpyBot definitions for months because I get the message "bad checksum". I set spybot to run when opened and I cannot get into the program because everything freezes as soon as it starts to open after the initial run. Error messages in SpyBot are not visible because they are on top of one another and everything is frozen, but one stated "access violation at address BFF7b985 in modual "Kernal 32 DLL". I cannot uninstall SpyBot because I would lose the ability to recover changes. I need to access the Hosts file. SpyBot had moved it. Do you know where I would find it? How can I add addresses to the host file? I believe the other files in spybot are corrupted because it has not found spyware in along time, but other programs have. The Hosts file in Spysweeper has been Hijacked according to a statement above the host file. It also states in a third column in the "view host file" screen, "blocked addresses ignored." Visual Zone shows Network Blackjack on some ports and trojans on ports 1026 and 1025 and 139 among others. Source port is 50180 among others. My IP is suppose to be an msn address but instead it is 4.136.243.26 which is a "Dial one Atlanta" ip and a persistent intruder has a an IP address of 4.136.48.93 Dial1.Atlanta1.Level3. The intruder address usually has 4.136 with other numbers at the end, but most are the Dial1. Atlanta address. Symantec shows the ports their scan checks are stealth. Since the scan showed my IP as the 4.136.48.93 would the scan have run on the computer that really has that address rather than my computer? How can I close ports other than the ones that the Symantec scan shows as stealth? The above is shown in my Zonealarm program. I cannot use my Google search engine and "Get Net-wise" appears in the source page in hotmail. Can I block the Dial Atlanta address through my host file, if I can ever find the hosts file? Online scans and my own computer scans, find no intruders. Is there a program that is good at finding commercial keyloggers(the kind that can be purchased and directed at one specific person)? Spysweeper has found some of those that had to be remotely installed because I am the only person with physical access to the computer. These kinds of things have been occuring for at least 3 years. What can I do? <_< Thank you, patches :)
