I have noticed this some time now before my pc was infected with spyware etc (which i cleaned them up some time ago).. I had no problems with HL2 and FarCry no lag at all and now every 5-10 steps it lags for 1-2 secs and it then it keeps going on.. It's kinda annoying.. Anyone got any idea what it might cause that?

iam not a gamer, but if these are online games your playing could be a problem with anything from your connection/cable etc to your isp's network. ie latency, packet loss. may just be temporary.

No i never talk about online games.. Plus how is it possible to create a "problem" without doing anything? :/
I mean they run perfect and now they lag? :/ wtf..
its my job around here to jump to conclusions. i saw:
games+lag=online games.
packet loss/latency, lags,slowdowns etc are a compliant of online gamers. of which you are not one……….shelf life
