computer A: win XP pro, runs printer #1 computer B: win XP home, no printer attached computer C: win XP pro, runs printer #2 computer A can print to printer #1, but not #2 computer B can print to printer #1, but not #2 computer C can print to printer #1 and #2 all are in the same workgroup. I have a shared folder on computer A that both computer B & C can access with no problems. haven't tried sharing the other direction, though. when B attempting to access printers on C, I get a userid/password prompt, but entering a valid id does not work. what am I missing here? I suspect something in the security setup of C, but everything looks okay to me. print/file sharing is ON. tanks
