Can I/should I use Spywareblaster, Spywareguard, IESPY AD, and Sygate Firewall in lieu of PestPatrol, Webroot Spysweeper, and Zone Alarm Pro?

I can only tell you what I use. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard, IESPY AD, and Sygate Firewall. I also use SpyBot's TeaTimer.

Regarding that Open Port - any suggestions? That's my primary concern. Is Sygate hard to configure in comparison to ZA Pro?

I don't know anything about ZA, sorry.
