I hope I am not wasting anyone's time with a problem that has a simple solution I can't see. My computer has recently had its HD formatted after a series of OS related issues, namely my USB drives not working. After re-installing windows, many of my drivers had been deleted/dissapeared: audio, video, RAID to name a few. Anyways, I downloaded the appropriated drivers for all of those, but have not figured out how to fix my USB ports. They are not recognized under 'device manager'. No device plugged into any of them is identified. They seem to have power running to them, but no results. Do i need to update my BIOS? (i have no floppy drive - custom built.) I appreciate any and all responses.
