Hi, well heres my situation…. i just cleared everything out using a HJT log and thanks for the help! but my problem isnt fixed. wen i move my mouse around it stops/lags and then continues and programs take awhile to load and like say im listening to music and open firefox, the music will start to eff up and like the computer freezes. even freezes/lags wen im typing this thing right here. its brand new like 3 months ago and never used to do this, so i have no clue wuts going on. ive tried running multi anti-virus programs and a ton of anti-spyware as well. all help is appreciated, thanks

Ok .. first lets make sure that spyware/malware isnt an issue. Go here to download Hijack This. Then scan but do not fix anything yet. Save the scan to a log and then copy and paste the results of scan into a new thread in the Hijack This and Spyware removal forum…
Then we'll go from there.
Ok your log looks ok to me BUT I am not expert on spyware/malware so be patient and someone will answer when they can.
How many icons do you have in your system tray (were your clock is)? Do you know where to set your pagefile..? (control panel, system, advanced, the "settings" button in the performance section, then under the "advanced" tab once more click on "Change" button. A good rule of thumb is for your pagefile (virtual memory) to be set at 1 1/2 times the amount of ram you have (set the "initial size" to 2 or something low). Then of course you've run your disk cleanup and defrag..?
After you do that, go to BlackVipers and take control of your services. ***Remember however to follow his instructions as playing around with services can get you in trouble if not careful..!!***
I have 5 icons in the system tray (aol instant mess, sound, connection, symantec, and printer) ill give what u said a shot, thanks for the help
EDIT: it says blackvipers is coming soon. but i tried the vmem thing and computer is def working alot better. min was set to 700 something and max was 1500 something before
