ok i have done a little browsing on this site and looked at a few problems others were having. So i took it upon myself  and did another hijack scan and deleted the canada.exe file, restarted my computer and lo and behold it didn't show up (thank god lol). Now all i need is for you to look at my log and see if there is anything there i can get rid of (due to pop ups harrassing me). Thank-you very much this is the first time i have used this site and i am finding it very usefull even for me who really don't know a whole lot about computers. I am starting school in september for a 2 year clourse in "computer support specialist" which may turn into a 3 year course if all goes well. I find it very very interesting getting inside a computer and trying to fix things. Again thank you
Oops forgot to add my new hijack log here it is

Hello Lambshots
please do not respond to your own log because our volunteers find logs to do by looking for the ones with 0 response to them. Posting multiple posts also will often cause your posts to be lost in the list because we work from oldest to newest

We are sorry for the delay in answering you. If you are still having computer problems please scan again with HijackThis and post an updated HijackThis log here in this thread using Add Reply.

Then please add a link to your post in this thread notifying us that your post is more than 5 days old:

Hi Lambshots,

Do you recognize this line or any part of it?

O23 - Service: Windows Automatic Updates - Stanford University - C:\WINDOWS\system32\windowsautomaticupdates.exe

1. Run HijackThis (“Do a system scan only”). Put a checkmark near these lines:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\about.htm

O2 - BHO: {92E1B3F7-0546-421E-9835-904D25B7BA66} - {C4F147D7-BF25-488E-A12B-EFD43E7029BF} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\winvbie.dll
O3 - Toolbar: VisuExplorer - {92E1B3F7-0546-421E-9835-904D25B7BA66} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiev32.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Qxdhp] C:\Program Files\Axlh\Yyxhcah.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [5tT5c] C:\WINDOWS\ktqqw.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [bO²ùð.×y-¯Œ] C:\WINDOWS\ktqqw.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [bO²ùõö/‚E%)ßfÏNb½¾C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe] C:\WINDOWS\ktqqw.exe

2. Close all other windows and browsers, and hit Fix Checked.

3. Reboot into safe mode by tapping F8 frequently during bootup.
Make sure your settings allow you to view "Hidden files". Open up any explorer windows and click on "Tools" => "Folder Options" => "View" and be sure to check off "Show Hidden Files and Folders".

4. Delete, in safe mode:
Folders
C:\Program Files\Axlh
C:\Program Files\ISTsvc

File
C:\WINDOWS\ktqqw.exe

5. Reboot into normal mode, make a new HijackThis log, and post it here :)
Hi Hans thank you again. I followed all your instructions and here is my new hijack this log. However, after my reboot i did not find the folder "c:\program files\ISTsvc" and i know nothing about the "O23 - Service: Windows Automatic Updates - Stanford University - C:\WINDOWS\system32\windowsautomaticupdates.exe"

Hi again Hans and no i really don't know what that is "O23 - Service: Windows Automatic Updates - Stanford University - C:\WINDOWS\system32\windowsautomaticupdates.exe" I am at a loss with that one. I recently tried to get SP2 through automatic update but can not download it B)
Ok, then we will take that it's bad :) 1. Run HijackThis (“Do a system scan only”). Put a checkmark near thise line: O23 - Service: Windows Automatic Updates - Stanford University - C:\WINDOWS\system32\windowsautomaticupdates.exe 2. Close all other windows and browsers, and hit Fix Checked. 3. Reboot, make a new HijackThis log, and post it here :)
:) Hi Hans here is my new log after deleting the "automatic updat(standford university)" line. Thank-You

Looks good! :)

You are using an prehistoric version of Windows XP though. You should update ASAP to Servicepack 2. You can do this by visiting Windows Update: Go to Internet Explorer - Tools and choose Windows Update. Install all essential updates, including SP2.

Here are some tips, to reduce the potential for spyware infection in the future, I strongly recommend installing the following applications:
  • Spywareblaster <= SpywareBlaster will prevent spyware from being installed.
  • Spywareguard <= SpywareGuard offers real-time protection from spyware installation attempts.
  • How to use Ad-Aware to remove Spyware <= If you suspect that you have spyware installed on your computer, here are instructions on how to download, install and then use Ad-Aware.
  • How to use Spybot to remove Spyware <= If you suspect that you have spyware installed on your computer, here are instructions on how to download, install and then use Spybot. Similar to Ad-Aware, I strongly recommend both to catch most spyware.
To protect yourself further:
  • IE/Spyad <= IE/Spyad places over 4000 websites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (Cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
  • MVPS Hosts file <= The MVPS Hosts file replaces your current HOSTS file with one containing well know ad sites etc. Basically, this prevents your computer from connecting to those sites by redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 which is your local computer
I also suggest that you delete your Temp folders regularly. Use CleanUp! to do this automatically for you!
You can order the Windows XP Service Pack 2 CD here. It usually arrives within 10 days.
