What is the correct way to use Hijack This to help a friend get rid of the two CWS infections listed above. Any help is appreciated. Please be as specific as possible. thank you. Winters3

Please go here:

then click on "download the stand alone version of CWShredder

A dialog box will pop up. Click "save" and save it somewhere where you will remember

When it is done downloading, find where you saved it to. Then double click the icon that says CWShredder

AT THIS POINT CLOSE ALL INTERNET BROWSERS AND OTHER PROGRAMS

then click "fix"

WHen that is done, come back here. post a hijack this log.
