if you have a lot of icons down by the clock, open the software by clicking the icon. look for options in the software for starting with windows, uncheck to start/load when windows starts……..

check items in startup group under programs. start>programs>startup. another place: start>run>msconfig>startup tab. becareful what you uncheck in msconfig.
