First Hijackthis Log

Hi,
I've had many problems with my computer lately :
-the monitor remains black when I turn it on > I have to reboot it many times to start Windows
-I often get "severe internal errors" windows (the screen gets blue and the computer abruptly shuts off)
-Many programs which used to work fine won't even start any more (even when I reinstall them) because of "execution errors" (including outlook express)
-other programs (such as word) start automatically
-my TCP/IP configuration has also been affected

I was not sure these problems were all virus-related, so I ran different programs in the following order:
1. Kaspersky: found 18 occurrences of 7 different trojandownloader viruses - could neither disinfect nor erase them
2. Adware: found 25 viruses- seems to have erased them
3. Anti-Trojan Elite: didn't find anything
4. a squared: didn't find anything
5. Panda Active Scan: didn't find anything
6. Kaspersky: still finds occurrences of trojan-downloader.win32.lstbar.gp and cannot erase them

The above-mentioned dysfunctions did not disappear.

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following.
Do this by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

Please read through the ideas and free software listed below that will help to keep your computer clean.
Some of these you may already have installed or may have done already.

Install a firewall.ZoneAlarm FREE

Ensure that an Antivirus is updated weekly and running.

Make sure you have the latest critical updates from windows update.

SpywareBlaster will prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.

IE-SPYAD puts over 4000 known 'bad' sites into your IE restricted zone so that they cannot install malware on your PC.

Google toolbar has a very good built in popup blocker with a nice search bar. To provide privacy, select disable advanced features when installing.

Check your system for latest virus definitions with an online virus scan
TrendMicro HouseCall
eTrust AntiVirus Web Scanner
Panda ActiveScan

Check your system for latest trojan definitions with an Online trojan scan
