Norton Personal Firewall 2004 Settings

Recently, the National Weather Service has updated the way you view their satellite data. Because they use popups, I'm unable to view any satellite data. I'm not sure which program is causing the problem: NPF or Internet Explorer. Here's how to get to the site I'm having problems with:

1. Go to http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/pdt
2. Click on Satellite Images in the left pane,
3. Click on any link within the table (none of them work for me).

Here's what I've done:

A) Internet Explorer
1. Under Tools/Pop-up Blocker/Pop-up Blocker Settings…, I added *.noaa.gov
to allow pop-ups. When I click on the link, IE indicates the pop-ups were
allowed in the status bar.

1. Under Privacy Control/Configure, I clicked on the Advanced tab and added
noaa.gov to the list of web sites. I then permited Information about visited
sites, and permitted pop-up adds. In the Log viewer, there are no indicated
"Blocks" associated with the links.

Unfortunately, none of these settings have worked. Everytime I click on the link, a window pops up and it immediately closes. In fact, if I click on the same link again, nothing happens (i.e. no window appears).

Does anyone know what's going on? What are the proper settings I need in order to see the satellite data? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried pressing Ctrl while clicking on the links? That works with my popup stopper… dk
