My daughter is away at school and was trying to streamline start up. Noticed entry in msconfig cdaengine0400. What is the best way of removing this. Not sure if she got it when she downloaded AIM instant messenger. Is it OK to remove and if yes, what is the best way of doing it. Via add/remove programs? Is there anything else she should do after this to remove other traces of program? She is running windows XP pro with service pack 2 installed. Thanks in advance for any help
