Well, I am stumped. I have a toolbar that no matter what I do, I cannot remove from IE. It has me going crazy. Every time i remove (fix) the red entry it returns once i relaunch internet explorer (the toolbar appears)….except the url is randomized in the log.
The blue entry…well I can't figure it out.

I am using a PC with multiple users, and I have been watching what we do…but can't pin it down.

I have figured it out. Using process explorer form sysinternals….i noticed that every time i tried to kill "ieexplore.exe" it would restart automatically. There were always two instances of ieexplorer.exe running at all times. When one was killed….a file called "2bait.exe" would execute….and relaunch it. When the other was killed….. a file caled "live dale second.exe" was launched and restarted the IE process. The "2bait.exe" file was found in the users profile directory, and was undeletable. The 'live dale second.exe' file was in the program files directory, and undeletable. I did a google search…and picked up a program called "Move on Boot" I set this program to delete 2bait.exe and 'live dale second.exe' on restart because they were locked files. Now, after those files were deleted the problem has been fixed….and according to hijackthis, adaware and spybot, my system is clean as a thistle. The program move on boot deserves mentioning in the forum, and could be an asset to those diagnosing spyware problems. (p.s i dont know if it has been mentioned or used in a solution in the forum prior to today, so sorry if i am repeating someone else.)

New program not tested by many but it seams ok.

Hijack this has this option click>Config…>Misc Tools>Delete a file on reboot…

Sorry I didn't think about it.
