Okie dokie… I'm probably going to have to turn the computer over to my Wife and Daughter for a while, but I'll look up this thread when I get back on. :)
OK. I really appreciate the help. I am a owl (an old habit I can't shake from residency :D ) so I will probably be on quite late tonight (I am in CST).
OK, I was able to delete all of the files through Hijack This! that you wanted me to. However, I was not able to find any of the files you wanted me to delete while in safe mode. I did follow the instructions to show the hidden files. Here is the new log.

You got most of the malware.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Fix these items:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [msbb] c:\windows\msbb.exe

Reboot in "safe" mode and see if you can find and delete:

c:\windows\msbb.exe <— file

C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools <— FOLDER

Then boot in normal mode, and try Spybot and Adaware as suggested. The amount of malware on your machine may have been the reason Spybot wouldn't run before.

After running them, post a new log file. :)

P.S. Your PC should be almost back to "normal" by now.
Here is the new log. The spybot SD did work this time, too.

Thanks for all the help Micah. It seems like things are getting fixed!
Also, and I don't want to push my luck, but earlier you mentioned something about some ideas of how to prevent this from happening again, and I am all ears for that!
Well, Doc…. Your log is clean enough to perform surgery with!!!

Your IE is missing some of the latest patches and upgrades. I'd go to the M$ web site and check for Windows and IE updates ASAP.

When you get time, you might try the other online virus scans (if you haven't done all three of them), although I don't see any virii in the log. Sometimes those scans will pick up and kill things that don't show up in a Hijack This! log file.

I'll leave you with my list of things to consider to prevent future infestations.

GOD bless!!!

M68 :)

P.S. - If you ever want to discuss the use of antihistamines in the treatment of Bubonic plague, look me up. ;)

Items you may wish to consider to harden your defenses against future infections:

Read "How did I get infected in the first place?" here:

http://boards.cexx.org/viewtopic.php?t=957

Download IE-Spyad here:

https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/resource.htm

IE-Spyad puts over 4000 known malicious web sites into IE's "restricted zone" to help prevent you from getting infected.

Check your browser settings here:

http://browsercheck.qualys.com/index.php

A series of "tests" (and suggested fixes) to help tweak IE's settings to help prevent infections when surfing the web.

Follow safe Internet practices:

1. Keep your virus definitions up to date, and scan your system regularly.

2. Don't open email, or download attachments from unrecognized email addresses.

3. Be careful when downloading email attachments, EVEN FROM PEOPLE YOU KNOW! Many virii, worms, and trojans infect a persons system then immeadiately spread themselves to the people in the infected persons addressbook via email attachments.

4. Be careful downloading files from the Internet. Scan all downloaded files with a reliable UP-TO-DATE antivirus program. Scan "zip" files BEFORE unzipping, and scan all unzipped files BEFORE USING THEM.

5. Keep your Windows and IE current with all the latest patches and updates.

I am glad that we were able to help! I am closing this topic now, but if you need it reopened, please send an email to the following link(Click for address) with the Subject line of the email "Reopen".
To receive a response, please include in your email: the user name used in the post, details of why you need it reopened, and a valid link to the post.

Emails with bad links to the post, emails that are not from the original poster, and emails that do not have "ReOpen" as the subject line, will be deleted without being opening.

Please start a New Topic if this is not your thread. Thank-you for your co-operation.
