Hello, everyone. I really like your site. I am having the problem that when I am on the internet for between five to ten minutes, IE is automatically redirected to the "errorpage", but the page never opens and then IE becomes unresponsice until I either reboot or run adaware. Every time I run adaware, IE runs fine for a while and then the same thing happens all over again. Here is my Hijack file after running adaware and getting IE to run again.

I hope this worked proper and thanks in advance for any help.
I cannot get the SD to complete the process of fixing the problems. When it starts to fix the problems, it creates a system restore file, but never gets done completing the system restore (I have waited 30 minutes for it to close the box like it says it will when it is done with the sysytem restore) and then I cannot get it to remove the files it found. What to do?
For now just skip Spybot. I'll investigate and see what I can find out for you. Run Adaware with the proper settings, and the online virus scans. Then download the newest version of Hijack This! and post a new log file. :)
Good things come to those who wait… ;) It's worth a little time now to be sure you're "clean". When we get finished, I have a few suggestions to help keep you that way. Just think of it as giving your machine a "check-up", Doc. :)
Man, what a bummer! I performed the adaware scan, and then the housecall scan and was logging onto the Panda site when IE got redirected to the errorplace and stopped responding. Now I will rescan with adaware since this is the only thing I know to do to free up IE…..so I guess I will start over. I need to take another patience pill!
I just got done scanning my cpu with adaware…unfortunately I still cannot get my IE to work as it defaults me to the error place. I will try to scan it again, but this particular problem has not happened before….and just a general question. Isn't Norton supposed to keep this stuff from happening in the first place? I have that and everything is up to date and I am still messed up.
Norton works for virii, trojans, and worms, but NOT most browser hijacking programs. If you post a new Hijack This! log file, maybe we can fix a few things now, and you can do the scans later?
ok here it is

OK thanks a large amount! I am going to take my family to dinner and I will do this when we return and post the results. I understand human physiology really well, but not computer physiology so this may take me a while. Thanks a heap (again)!!!
