Can anyone help? I click on Internet Explorer, it opens and then a split second later it closes. The home page never even loads. This is very frustrating because I am having to use a friend's computer to post this HiJack This log. Without being able to open the internet, I am stuck as how to even diagnose.

Please reply with help to: [removed]

Many thanks in advance!!

Here is what I have started with:
CCleaner - run
Spybot S&D - updated definitions and run (usual items found and deleted)
AdAware - updated definitions and run (usual items found and deleted)
AVG virus - updated and run (nothing found)
