Help resetting computer

Hey, i am helping a lady who's computer keeps telling her it can't up-date because there isn't enough space on her computer to update it ! I have tried removing a bunch of stuff to free up space & have run Disk Clean up ! She even said i could wipe it clean & start over if i had to !
Any help on resetting/updating it ?
Should i just wipe it clean & start over ?
There is nothing important that she would lose by wiping clean !

Disk Cleanup says only 6.99gb free of disk space on windows C
The hard drive is 28.8GB used out of 29.1GB

Tried to run "Fix could not find the recovery environment windows 10" but it failed !!

Any ideas ??

What is the make and full model number of the computer?

How much RAM does it have?

You can try turning off Hibernate which will get rid of hiberfile.sys, see how much space that gives you back.

Open a Elevated Command Prompt (Press the Window key, type cmd, right click on Command Prompt and select  Run as Administrator).

Enter powercfg -h off and press Enter.

I tried this yesterday & got an "Could not be found" ….. tried all the diff ways !!

When i tried to update it would say "insert media" !

Now that she picked it up the knowledge of how to fix this if i ever get another computer is my goal !!
