I need to cleanup my external hard drive, by removing duplicate files. I am using an app called, AllDup, and I set my exclusion rules to block all system files and the recycle-bin. However, these exclusion are not blocking files that my application projects need for opening the project. These files have really long string names, with a bunch of numbers and letters that are scrambled together. These strings sometimes have all numbers or the first character being a letter along with a bunch of numbers and letters thereafter. Furthermore, the file extensions are not all the same to each program that handles project in this way.
Now I am not expecting any of the helpers here to know how to use AllDup. Instead, since AllDup uses the same syntax as with Windows Explorer, I am looking for a syntax string to use which will exclude those project data files.
