These are two separate but perhaps related issues. I first noticed that the PC is restarting without a bluescreen, errors, or any warning. Nothing seems to happen it just restarts. Recently, it also says insufficient memory for tasks like sending email.

There are so many potential causes and solutions, is there anything I can provide to you that will help you diagnose what the problem is specifically with my PC?

Hi geercom,

I was sorry to se that you have received no reply here, to your question… do you still need assistance or have you managed to resolve the issue?

Ok

To see if there is something obvious that is causing the issues

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

  1. In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
  2. In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
  3. Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Thanks for the url,

I'm not seeing anything obvious that is causing the issues, however the following thoughts may help.

1 It looks like you have not rebooted the computer recently…… it may be worthwhile trying a couple of fresh starts to see if there is any improvement.

2 You have a fair amount of "protections" etc. on board…do you need them all?

Spybot

Zemana

WinPatrol

McAfee

Defender

Malwarebytes

It would be wise to see that you only have one AV product running resident in memory…. your "on demand" scanners are fine, but the McAfee security Scan is not really required at all.

3 With the protections you have and also Rogue Killer, would it be fair to say you have experienced " undesirable code" trying to establish a "toe hold" on your machine?

4 A large number of Win updates look as though they have not been installed, it would be worth checking and installing all important and critical updates, rebooting, and then checking again to see if any more are available.

5 A fair number of "services" seem to be stopped…..have you checked these using tweaking.com All in One Repair Tool that I see you have installed

6 Is your System Restore working Ok? and do you have System Restore Points available dated prior to the issues becoming apparent?

7 Check please in "Device Manager", any red or yellow flags indicating driver errors?

8 Presumably you have run sfc /scannow and also chkdsk /r from elevated command prompts?

9 have you run "who crashed" to see if this can shed any light on the issues?

who crashed details available from here:

http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed

and the download for the free version from here:

http://www.resplendence.com/downloads

(you will need to scroll down about half way to free version 6.01)

10 Finally have you made a system repair disc? do you have the Microsoft Installation disc for your version of Win 7? and do you have verified disc images kept safely on removable media, that you could use to help remedy the situation should that be necessary?

Let us know how you get on
