Hello

If you are going to use Ccleaner>Window tab only, which checkboxes are very safe to use. I would like to clean up a bit without dropping files.

Also is Revo very safe so I don't drop a file there either.

If a file is dropped can it be retrieved by inserting the OS disc and using some type of repair?

Win 10 1511, x64.

TQ

Peter

Hi Rich

If there is a problem, I don't know which file to retrieve. I have looked at my files in my images before.

I could copy one if I knew it was the missing one then I guess I open file explorer and paste it there?

I have referenced your images of Ccleaner and thank you for them.

I am also glad to hear about Revo as I had stopped using it for a while but I know those files build up.

TQ

Peter

Yes, I do have that information but didn't connect the dots. I just ran SFC and all is well.

CCleaner found 87MB so I was not too cluttered I usually run the disc cleanup and also the system files clean up. It seems to do a lesser cleanup than Ccleaner.

I wrote to MBAM's forum as I am having trouble with Exploit. I tried the initial trouble shooting but it did not help so I am confident they will help me solve it. If it isn't one it is the other, however, I almost like a problem so i can solve it -usually with help like here.

Happy New Year, Rich and I hope it is a prosperous and healthy one for all in the forum.

Long winded Peter
