In between, I experience between 5 and 10 hard crashes. I just wonder if after a crash, the machine may revert back to an old restore date, one where the issues persisted. With time, the machine will revert to a restore date where all the issues have been corrected. Just a thought.
My reasoning is that currently, the "16 repetitive updates" issues again appear to be resolved. Hopefully, that will continue to be the case.
So it looks like this thread is complete. Thank you oh so much for your assistance!!
I don't know if the machine can revert back to a previous state without commands from you to do so.
It came to mind that it might be a windows update doing this. Finding which one would be a nightmare.
Or, it's trying to update one thats already on the machine?,
Read over the updates and what they were created for, with the descriptions decide if there is one you can do without then, when it says it needs to update again, go to that one and select Hide Process of elimination to catch the bugger thats causing these crashes if indeed it is coming from windows updates.
Let's remove tools and quarantine folders.

Re: "16 repetitive updates" Since my last post, I had only experienced that one time (as was posted) where the repetitive updates persisted. Since then, with every reboot (morning & every time following a hard crash), the issue has not presented itself.
To answer a Q which was asked a few times, "How is the machine now running?" It runs OH so much better. Not at 100% yet (due to hardware issues), but TREMENDOUSLY better!
