I have installed 4G of 800Mhz memory into my 9200c. When I go into the BIOS it lists the correct configuration ( each DIM 1G - 800 Mhz) but under Memory speed it lists 667 Memory speed. Anyone know why?

might be because that's the fastest speed the motherboard can run at without being overclocked. (you'd really need the motherboard manual to know what to change in the bios to set the correct speed for the memory.)

personally i really wouldn't worry about it, just as long as everything is running fine.

your really not going to notice a speed difference with the memory running at 800Mhz compared to 667Mhz in the real world, when actually using the pc.

what matters most is that you now have more memory there for the os to use and that should bring you a noticeable difference in use, especially when your doing more than a single thing on the pc.
