Hi I need a urgent help on this issue. My Internet explorers keep crashing with norton intrusion alert that says fake app attack: misleading application file download3. When I click on the details of this incidence it says that attacking computer is getdatanetukscan.info with IP of 91.109.18.43, 80. And the url is getdatanetukscan.info/sp32_64_3545401696624573225. The problem started about a day or 2 days ago. This alert sometimes pops up even when I'm not actively using explorers. I guessed that there might be some file on my computer causing this problem but I have no idea how to locate and delete that file. Since internet keeps crashing I'm even posting this thread using my smartphone... could you please help me with this issue? I can't do anything with my computer because of this. . Thank you!

Hi and welcome

You may need to use a USB drive, download from a clean computer, then transfer to your desktop/infected computer.

After you download these tools, if there are problems in normal mode...please boot into safe mode to carry on from there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Search.
  • A logfile will automatically open after the scan has finished.
  • Please post the contents of that logfile with your next reply.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[R1].txt as well.
-Junkware-Removal-Tool-
Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
Vista / 7 / 8 users:
You will need to to right-click on the either the IE or FF icon in the Start Menu or Quick Launch Bar on the Taskbar and select Run as Administrator from the context menu.
  • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
  • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click JRT.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
  • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
  • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
  • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
  • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.
At times JRT may appear to be stalling, please be patient.
***************************
bf_new.gif Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here. Never download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from other sources.
Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
  • Extra Note:
    If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
    please post
    AdwCleaner[R1].txt
    JRT.txt
    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware log
If there are internet issues afterward:
*In IE: Tools Menu -> Internet Options -> Connections Tab ->Lan Settings > uncheck "use a proxy server" or reconfigure the Proxy server again in case you have set it previously.
In Firefox in Tools Menu -> Options... -> Advanced Tab -> Network Tab -> "Settings" under Connection and uncheck the proxyserver, set it to No Proxy.
Chrome:
Select -> Tools menu -> then "Options", then go to "Change Proxy Settings", then "LAN Settings" , then take out the check mark for "Use a proxy server for your LAN" if set, unless you set this up yourself.
