Here Is The Log Of My Scan Thank You

Here is the log of my scan.
Problems i have been having include, alot of popups, system slowdown, critical errors>forcing windows to restart>>afterwards message reads sysytem recovered from a serious error.
Many of the popups have displayed the letters CID in the address bar. About 90% of the time it says CID.

I used this help forum a real long time ago and look forward to the volunteers helping–thanks very much.
I have tried spyware doctor, this norton scanner i have, and spybot to try to fix the problem and rebooted after each time–this helped none.

Hello and welcome to the forums

Click HERE and Save, Install, Update and run a full scan.

Next:

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.


(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time.

Next:

Download AVG Anti-Spyware from HERE and save that file to your
desktop.
This is a 30 day trial of the program
  • Once you have downloaded AVG Anti-Spyware, locate the icon on the desktop
    and double-click it to launch the set up program.
  • Once the setup is complete you will need run ewido and update the definition
    files.
  • On the main screen select the icon "Update" then select the "
    Update now    " link.
    • Next select the "Start Update" button, the update will start and a
      progress bar will show the updates being installed.
  • Once the update has completed select the "Scanner" icon at the top of
    the screen, then select the "Settings" tab.
  • Once in the Settings screen click on "Recommended actions" and then
    select " "Quarantine" .".
  • Under "Reports"
    • Select "Automatically generate report after every scan"
    • Un-Select "Only if threats were found"
Close AVG Anti-Spyware, Do Not run a scan just yet, we will shortly.
  • Reboot your computer into SafeMode. You can do this by restarting
    your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears.

    Use your up arrow key to highlight SafeMode then hit enter.
    IMPORTANT: Do not open any other windows or
    programs while AVG Anti-Spyware is scanning, it may interfere with the scanning proccess:
  • Lauch AVG Anti-Spyware by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.
  • Select the "Scanner" icon at the top and then the "Scan" tab
    then click on "Complete System Scan".
  • ewido will now begin the scanning process, be patient this may take a little
    time.
    Once the scan is complete do the following:
  • If you have any infections you will prompted, then select "Apply all
    actions    "
  • Next select the "Reports" icon at the top.
  • Select the "Save report as" button in the lower left hand of the
    screen and save it to a text file on your system (make sure to remember where
    you saved that file, this is important).
  • Close AVG Anti-Spyware and reboot your system back into Normal Mode and post the
    results of the AVG Anti-Spyware report scan along with a new HijackThis log.

okay, i did exactly as you asked.
i set up the avg anti-software exactly like you asked and then booted into safe mode and ran the scan.
applied all actions then clicked on reports
BUT the problem is there were no saved reports.

After re-booting i opened the avg program and went into the settings and they are set up correctly to save a log every time-like you asked. But like i said it did not do this.

Anyway here is the new Hijack this log

Please go to http://virusscan.jotti.org , click on Browse, and upload the following file for analysis:

C:\DOCUMENTS and settings\Johnny\Application Data\Glueexit\binmesscreative.exe


Then click Submit. Allow the file to be scanned, and then please copy and paste the results here for me to see.

I tried what you said. It says file not found make sure that proper file name is given etc. I tried to copy and paste the file into the browse button so i could scan it and Then i tried to manually find that file but could not. I have to leave for work but will be back online around 5:30 pm. How come i cant find the file—is it because its too early and i just got up or?? thanks for the help.

i tried a file search and cant' find anything like you mentioned.. I will be around. thanks for doing what it is that you do. I should be around tonight and tomorrow after work(in the morning)

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Now see if you can find it.

Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Download Avenger by Swandog, and unzip it to your desktop or somewhere you can find it. (Do not run it yet).

Note: The Avenger must be run from a user account with administrator privileges,

and ONLY works on Windows 2000 and XP, and only on 32-bit versions!
If yours is a 64 bit version, do not use it, let me know.


Open a Notepad file by clicking Start > Run and typing Notepad.exe in the box, click OK.

Click Format, and ensure Word Wrap is unchecked.

Copy and Paste all the text inside the box below into Notepad.

Now save the file as RemoveFiles.txt in a location where you can find it.

Files to delete:
C:\DOCUME~1\Johnny\APPLIC~1\Glueexit\binmesscreative.exe

Folders to delete:
C:\DOCUME~1\Johnny\APPLIC~1\Glueexit
C:\Program Files\Glueexit



Start Avenger by double clicking on Avenger.exe.


Check Load script from file:

Click on the folder symbol below and to the right, and browse to RemoveFiles.txt.

Double click it to enter it into Avenger.

Click the green traffic light symbol.

You will be asked if you want to execute the script, answer Yes.

At this point you may get prompts from your protection systems, allow them please.

Avenger will set itself up to run the next time you re-boot, and will prompt you to re-start immediately.

Answer Yes, and allow your computer to re-boot.

Upon re-boot a command window will briefly appear on screen (this is normal).

A Notepad text file will be created C:\avenger.txt.

Copy and Paste it into your next post please, along with a new HJT log.
