 Hi, I posted my log because my computer is running slow, we keep getting unwanted porn and I think the browser is being hijacked (posted this on 19th July 7:37pm). I'm not expecting a reply by now, but the envelop symbol on the side shows a kind of 'seal'. Does this mean I have really bad viruses which can't be stopped? If so, what are my options? I am by no means a computer expert and don't understand most of the stuff that is on this site - so if there is a problem and you can help, could you please make your response simple!!! (if there is such a thing). I thank you for your time, Fi-Fi

Greetings and welcome to TomCoyote.com

We need to know what's going on inside your machine to see if you have any malware on your system.

We have a program to do that called "Hijack This!".

Important: Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT.
Download of HijackThis into this folder (use the link in my signature).

If required a tutorial is here:

http://russelltexas....tehjtfolder.htm

Run HijackThis!

Click "Scan"

DO NOT "FIX" ANYTHING YET!!!

FIXING THE WRONG THING COULD RENDER YOUR SYSTEM INOPERABLE!!!

Click "Save log".

Come back here, and post the ENTIRE CONTENTS of that log file into this thread.

Someone will help you. :)

Hi Micah, Thank you for responding, I was getting worried that no-one would reply! I've posted my log to the 'Logs and Problems' area. I've been a bit cheeky and replied to my own problem to put it back onto the main page again. I reposted it on 20th July - 12:09pm. Is there a way of copying and posting my log to the OPEN forum. You see I'm at work at the moment, I'm not on the home computer that has the problems. One question, I don't know if you can answer it, but we had to remove Adaware inorder to get onto this web-site. Adaware, kept blocking your site, I thought Adaware was suppose to be a good thing to put on? Any response or help would be very much apprechiated. i think the viruses we have are bad. Thanks, Fi-Fi
