Just, thanks, got the system cleared out of 250 copies of a trojan. Concurrent with this episode, I noted a couple of oddities in a couple of programs. For instance, in Dreamweaver, the Commands drop-down ("refresh site files," for instance) now gives me some kind of error message. Wondering if, as the description says, can trojans and so forth, aside from inviting their friends in, corrupt the files or programs they park in? denno

Hello, Yes that is entirely possible. The best thing to do would be to reinstall the program
