I need a laptop battery ulgently!! I got a battery with 2 years and it failed about several days ago. I want to carry a laptop around all day, using it most of the day, which means that i need a "super" battery with longer run time.

Replacement batteries are pretty expensive across the board but where is the most reputable site to buy from? My friend have recommend me a website http://www.batteryselling.com/hp-probook-4…0mah-14-8v.html , it seems perfect due to the reasonale price and longer warranty(60 days money back, 2 years warranty) at first glance. However, it is a shop located on China and i don't want to get screwed with some crappy Chinese knock off battery that doesn't hold a charge for longer than one hour or less. I can't be rest assured to buy something there. Anyother advice to buy such batteries on a reputable shop based on USA?

All the advices will be welcome here.
Sylvia, I purchase a great deal of laptop batteries off of Ebay from USA sellers. I rarely ever have any trouble with them. They are all cheap knockoffs. But they are cheap, so who cares. They work. Often times you can buy a standard capacity battery, or a high capacity battery with longer run time. If you want better run time you need to get a higher capacity battery which has more "cells" (batteries) in it. The batteries are bigger and often double as a stand for the laptop or protrude out the back of the laptop. Laptop batteries have a life of 2 to 3 years depending on use. The more you charge and discharge the battery the shorter it's life gets. There's no reason you can't find your batteries for between $20-$40 on Ebay that work perfectly fine. Do not look for your battery based on laptop model. Look for your battery based on the original part number of the battery. The HP Part # will be on the battery and will usually consist of 6 numbers followed by 3 numbers (xxxxxx-xxx). Then sort by price, and scroll down to slightly more expensive batteries until you find "9-cell," "12-cell" etc. for higher capacity. The higher the mAh rating the longer run time you will have.
