Hi Andrew92,

Your machine runs with an integrated "on-board" native graphics adapter - Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD with DX10 support.

The motherboard is configured to allow the installation of a dedicated graphics PCI-e card, which would very likely provide better performance "in technical terms" but would not make much of a noticeable difference for routine computing functions of browsing, office functions, email, IM, video viewing and the like.

Whether or not adding a PCI-e card would benefit any "gaming" or video editing activities you may engage in will be largely a function of "what games" and/or "what type of video editing".

Your machine is relatively "compact" and therefore will not physically accommodate most of the large form factor PCI-e graphics adapter solutions.
In all cases, I believe that you will be limited to what is known as "low profile" cards.

HP recommends the possibility of adding:
ATI HD2400(RV610 256mb graphics card
ATIHD3470(RV620) 256mb graphics card (accommodating DVI connector)

I haven't shopped around for price and availability, but you could have a look online at the usual stores such as Newegg, TigerDirect, Amazon, Overstock, and similar.

"If" you already have a dedicated graphics card installed in the machine, there is probably not much room for improving.

Your link provides a good presentation of hardware and suggestions which will give you a few options.

It would be interesting to learn what you eventually decide to do.
Feel free to post back with your progress and/or questions.

Best Regards
