I am using windows xp and internet explorer 8 and am plagued with script error notifications. I have both the boxes checked for 'disable script debugging' and the box unchecked for 'display a notification of script errors' Indications from research leads me to believe it is some kind of registry problem, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

Hi sgaryr37,
You have done the right thing with the two settings you have identified.
in Internet Explorer, but sometimes it works better if your first set both settings to what you dont want.....ie to show you and notify etc.... then apply that setting and OK your way out.
Close down Internet Explorer, wait 30 seconds then open it up again......
this time correct the settings to what you do want
Click on Apply and Ok your way out...
close down Internet Explorer again wait again for 30 seconds and then open it up again......
any improvement?
Regards
