I have a Dell laptop with XP sp3 running Outlook 2000. The outlook PST file is over 2GB and I believe it is causing my Outook to keep locking up.
I tried the microsoft truncate program and ran scanpst.exe and that seemed to work. But when I open the repaired file in outlook (most everything seems okay) none of the email addresses are in the individual contacts in the contacts folder. All my contants are there with most phone numbers and addresses, but the email addresses are gone.
Any other suggestions?
I looked at some demo versions of PST split software but I am not sure this will work.
Any other programs similiar to Outlook, maybe open source
thanks
