XP Home Language

Hi I need help please, I received an old pc as a present, I have the certificate of authenticity with product key etc but I do not have the installation disk. It is Windows XP Home edition and it is in Dutch - I would like to change it to English but I cant seem to manage it. Please could you assist me. Best Regards and thanking you in advance Cae

Hi hellocae, and welcome to the WTT forums. If you want the whole operating system to be in English then you will need to install Windows Xp again…..you will need the Windows Installation disc for this. Some folks think that its possible to change the whole operating system from one language to another but alas this is not possible… there are some limited changes that are possible by using Control Panel> Regional and LanguageOptions but these are very limited…. Maybe though they will help you until you can obtain an English Win XP operating system installation disc and its Certficate of Authenticity. Regards paws
