Hey! So I have removed any and all Bandoo programs but when I search something in the Google Chrome search bar, it always redirects to searchqu. Thanks in advance for your help.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Please do not delete anything unless instructed to. DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision. Doing so could make your system inoperable and could require a full reinstall of your Operating System and losing all your programs and data.

Vista and Windows 7 users:

These tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe) every time you run them
with Admin Rights (Right click, choose "Run as Administrator")

  • Download OTL to your desktop.
  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  • When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
  • Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
  • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt.
    Note:These logs can be located in the OTL. folder on you C:\ drive if they fail to open automatically.
  • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post it with your next reply. You may need two posts to fit them both in.

Please download aswMBR ( 511KB ) to your desktop.
  • Double click the aswMBR.exe icon to run it
  • Click the Scan button to start the scan
  • On completion of the scan, click the save log button, save it to your desktop and post it in your next reply.

  • Doubleclick CKScanner.exe then click Search For Files
  • When the cursor hourglass disappears, click Save List To File
  • A message box will verify the file saved

Nevermind, I found the aswMBR program. When I ran it, I was given a prompt that I could download "Avast!" to help improve the scan. I clicked no. I then ran the scan and my system shut down.

You have a pretty nice collection of illegal software on your system, this is how you infected your computer, besides it being illegal, cracked/keygens are one of the fastest way of infecting your system, almost 100% of illegal software contains some form of malicious code. This forum as well as all the other malware removal forums do not support the use of illegal software except for there removal. If I was to continue helping you it could be construed in the eyes of the law as aiding and abetting a crime. If you you want to continue, what I need you to do is to look through the CKScanner log and uninstall all the illegal software that you have downloaded and installed . After you uninstall them all, run CKScanner again and post a new log. If I dont hear back from you in 24 hours this thread will be closed and no more help will be offered.
