Trojan (Exploit_c.exe)?

Hey Guys, My wife's laptop appears to have a virus and keeps shutting the computer down after a few minutes. We ran Avira AntiVir but didn't have any luck. At one point it listed that it found a trojan called EXPLOIT_C.EXE but we're not sure if it removed it or if that was even the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. Here's the HJT scan:

Hello again FutureZeus

There are signs of AVG, Avira and Norton on this computer.

You can not run more than one real-time antivirus at the same time. Although many have different methods of searching for and recognising threats, they will all be 'fighting' in memory to kick each other out, rendering them all ineffective.

Please remove two. What you choose to do after your computer problem is resolved is up to you but please follow these instructions until that time.

Download/run Rkill:

Please download Rkill from one of the following links and save to your Desktop:

  • Double click on Rkill.
  • A command window will open then disappear upon completion, this is normal.
  • Please leave Rkill on the Desktop until otherwise advised.

Note: If your security software warns about Rkill, please ignore and allow the download to continue.

Run rkill repeatedly if necessary until it's able to do its job. This may take a few attempts.

You'll be able to tell when rkill has done its job when your desktop (explorer.exe) cycles off and then on again.

  • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
  • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post it with your next reply.
  • You may need two posts to fit them both in.

Run aswMBR

Download aswMBR.exe ( 511KB ) to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it

Click the "Scan" button to start scan

On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply
