Oh Jimmy ! How are you and your wife today? Are you ok? If you lose internet contact, please know we are here awaiting word. God bless you and keep you, your wife and your loved ones now and always. May Noah send you timely advice and instruction from above !! Do you have a boat or a rubber inflatable raft and life jackets and paddles? If not, could you get one with that takes at least two and put 2 bankets, 2 flashlights, 2 small pocket foghorns, 2 gallons of water and 3 days rations of food (dried fruit or bag of apples, beef jerky, trail mix, 6 - 10 pouches of vacuum packed fish/meat (found in food isle needs no fridge), bag of baby peeled carrots and pre-washed spinach leaves, 5-10 plastic large garbage bags (put amount of scented cat litter in two of them to use for toileting, and 2 - 4 of them for each of you make raincoats and hoods), use the others to store and waterproof other supplies which might also include one change of clothes. It's important to stay dry. Don't forget any medications in a sealtight baggie and a pocket bible. If this is not feasible — make preparations to figure out how to get on the roof of someone's house. .
Hey Jimmy, I've been watching the floods on OZ TV. Doesn't look good for a lot of people. Be careful mate. I've been in bad floods (and bushfires). It can get very freaky :( Whatever you do, don't drive through flooded roads as they can be really deceptive. In our recent huge floods over here, most deaths we in swept off the road cars. Very preventable. Stay safe and God bless to all in the affected areas. Cheers, Lee
